Job Description

Busitema University is seeking a qualified Medical Officer to provide comprehensive medical services to staff, students, and the surrounding community. The Medical Officer will be responsible for diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and providing preventive healthcare services. This role involves conducting routine medical examinations, managing health records, and responding to medical emergencies. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution; Valid medical license to practice in Uganda; Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a clinical setting; Strong diagnostic and clinical skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies; Knowledge of Ugandan healthcare regulations and standards; Proficiency in medical software systems; Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical medical practice.
