Physiotherapist
Job Description
The Physiotherapist at Central University Hospital of Kigali (CHUK) will be responsible for measuring patients' motor functions, recording strength and muscle performance, and assisting in developing treatment plans. The role involves observing patients, writing detailed progress reports, and evaluating their capability to function independently. The physiotherapist will assist patients in performing specific exercises, treating them using techniques such as stretching and massage, and helping them with equipment like walkers. Additional responsibilities include using and caring for braces or prostheses, applying electrical stimulation and ultrasound, and teaching patients and their families post-treatment care routines. The physiotherapist will also provide detailed information on procedures to be followed prior to healthcare interventions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy; 3 years of relevant experience; Valid License to practice issued by the professional council in Rwanda; Digital literacy skills; Verbal and written communication skills in English and/or French.
