Manager Group Card Accounts

This role is responsible for overseeing the management of intercompany card accounts within the KCB Group, including Nostros accounts for the group, international card schemes, and local switches. The position ensures that Card Suspense Accounts and settlements are processed within stipulated timelines, with a strong focus on managing chargebacks, merchant payments, cardholder payments, and exceptions. The role involves monitoring aging balances to ensure timely exception management, resolution, and full compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards. Additionally, the position drives Card operations-related projects to align with changes in the card business and regulatory requirements for both KCB Kenya and the broader Group. The Manager will provide detailed analysis (MIS) and commentary on suspense and compliance reports, including root cause identification and corrective actions. Leadership responsibilities include coaching team members, stakeholder engagement, and driving performance to meet business and operational goals.

Bachelor's Degree in any field (required); Professional Qualification: CPA Part 2 (required); Master's Degree in a Business-Related field (added advantage); Minimum 4 years of experience in Banking Operations (required); Minimum 4 years of experience in Reconciliation/Management of Suspense Accounts (required); Minimum 2 years of experience in Card Business/Card Operations (required); Minimum 3 years of experience in Audit & Risk Awareness (desired); Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analysis & Presentation of Management Reports (required); Minimum 4 years of experience in People Management (required); Minimum 4 years of experience in Stakeholder Management (required).
