Women Enterprise Fund Vacancy Notice

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall management of the Women Enterprise Fund. Key responsibilities include formulating and implementing the organization's strategic plan, ensuring financial sustainability, overseeing the execution of programs aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs, and representing the Fund in national and international forums. The CEO will lead a team of senior managers, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and drive the achievement of the Fund's mission to enhance women's economic empowerment through access to finance and business development services. The role requires a strong track record in leadership, financial management, and program implementation within the public or development sector.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage; Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in a reputable organization, with at least 10 years in a senior management role; Proven track record in financial management, strategic planning, and program implementation; Experience in the development sector, particularly in women's economic empowerment or gender equality initiatives; Strong leadership and team management skills; Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities; Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment; Knowledge of Kenyan public sector policies and regulations is desirable.
