Pharmacist
Job Description
The Faculty member will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and supervising medical students and residents in the Psychiatry Department. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality clinical education, developing curriculum content, and contributing to research initiatives focused on mental health in resource-limited settings. The role involves both didactic teaching and hands-on clinical supervision in hospital and community settings. Faculty will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance mental health services and advocate for policy changes that improve access to psychiatric care in Rwanda and the region.
Requirements
MD or equivalent medical degree with board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry; minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in psychiatry; experience in medical education and curriculum development; strong research background with publications preferred; proficiency in English and French (Kinyarwanda is an asset); excellent communication and leadership skills; commitment to equity and social justice in healthcare.
