Sudan-Based Education Experts

STOOS Consulting is seeking qualified education experts based in Sudan to support assignments involving education research, programme design, evaluations, technical assistance, curriculum development, and capacity building. Selected experts will be prequalified for inclusion in a roster and may be contacted for short- or medium-term assignments with government institutions, UN agencies, international organizations, NGOs, and donors. Responsibilities include conducting education assessments, developing policies and curricula, designing methodologies and data-collection tools, consulting with stakeholders, facilitating training workshops, analyzing education data, and preparing reports. Experts must integrate gender equality, disability inclusion, safeguarding, conflict sensitivity, and Do No Harm principles into their work. Assignments may be remote, field-based, or hybrid, with deliverables and fees agreed per assignment.

A bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant discipline; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage; at least six years of professional experience in the education sector; demonstrated expertise in at least one specified area of education (e.g., education policy, curriculum development, teacher education, inclusive education); strong knowledge of the Sudanese education sector and institutional context; experience working with government authorities, schools, universities, NGOs, UN agencies, or donor-funded programmes; strong research, analytical, training, or technical writing skills; fluency in Arabic and good working proficiency in English; current residence in Sudan and willingness to travel when required; ability to work independently and deliver quality outputs within agreed timelines.
