Accounts Payable Accountant
Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing financial reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. Duties include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budget preparation. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and supporting audit processes. Additionally, the Accountant will monitor cash flow, track expenses, and provide financial insights to management as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus; Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance; Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage); Strong numerical and analytical skills; Attention to detail and organizational abilities; Knowledge of Kenyan tax regulations.
