• Provide specialist consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with complex dental, oral, and maxillofacial conditions. • Perform advanced dental and minor oral surgical procedures within the scope of specialist practice. • Conduct specialist outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and ward rounds for patients requiring dental and oral healthcare services. • Participate in emergency dental and on-call services as scheduled. • Supervise the clinical work of Dental Registrars, Dental Officers, Intern Dentists, Dental Therapists, Dental Technologists, Dental Assistants, and other oral healthcare professionals. • Develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols and ensure compliance with professional standards and quality assurance requirements. • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with regulatory and institutional requirements. • Promote patient safety, infection prevention and control, radiation safety, and ethical clinical practice. • Collaborate with other medical and surgical specialties in the multidisciplinary management of patients. • Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, simulation training, and clinical teaching to undergraduate dental students and other allied health students. • Supervise postgraduate trainees in Dental Surgery and related specialty training programmes. • Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, accreditation activities, and continuous review of dental education programmes. • Contribute to student assessments, including written examinations, Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs), clinical case presentations, logbook assessments, and dissertation supervision. • Mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, interns, and junior academic staff in clinical and academic development. • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or an equivalent recognized dental qualification.
