Male Nurse

Provide comprehensive nursing care to male patients in accordance with established medical protocols and standards. Primary responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, dressing wounds, and assisting physicians during examinations and procedures. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with medical documentation standards. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety guidelines in all patient interactions. Participate in continuing education programs to stay current with nursing best practices and medical advancements. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.

Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized institution; Valid nursing license or registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council; Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting; Proficiency in basic medical software and electronic health records systems; Strong communication skills in English and at least one local language; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care; Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
