Digital/Social Media Manager
Job Description
To grow E-Store Limited’s online footprint, manage digital customer interactions, and run targeted performance marketing campaigns that convert online traffic into showroom footfall and e-commerce sales. Primary responsibilities include developing monthly digital content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube; responding promptly to comments, direct messages, and WhatsApp inquiries regarding product prices; onboarding and managing digital influencers, tech vloggers, and brand ambassadors; updating retail banners, seasonal prices, and stock availabilities on the company website; and tracking website traffic, click-through rates, and conversion metrics to optimize ad spend. The role requires a blend of creative content planning and data-driven performance marketing to drive measurable business outcomes in Uganda’s competitive retail and e-commerce landscape.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field; 3+ years of experience in digital/social media management with a proven track record in content creation and community engagement; experience with Meta and Google ad campaigns targeting Ugandan consumers; proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics); strong copywriting and content strategy skills; ability to manage influencer partnerships and coordinate brand ambassador activities; familiarity with e-commerce platforms and retail website management; excellent communication skills in English and Swahili; ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
