Project Management Support - Senior Officer

The Project Management Support - Senior Officer will contribute to budget and consumption projections preparation, procurement processes, and identification of risks with mitigation measures. The role will track project milestones and alert managers on deadlines and reporting requirements. Additionally, the position will coordinate procurement, travel, transport, and inventory management in support of project operations in Ukraine, specifically in Kyiv, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Uzhorod, or alternative locations, while ensuring compliance with safety and security processes and procedures. The officer will support the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in delivering sustainable project management, procurement, and infrastructure services to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of peacebuilding, humanitarian, and development initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, finance, or a related field; minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in project management, procurement, or logistics; experience in conflict or post-conflict environments is highly desirable; strong analytical and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; excellent communication and teamwork abilities; familiarity with UNOPS or UN system policies and procedures is an asset; ability to work under pressure in high-risk environments.
