We are looking for a Quality Control Officer with practical experience in fresh food produce and food processing. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, knowledge of food quality and safety standards, and the ability to work flexible hours, including late working hours when required. Salary: KES 25,000 per month Gender: Male Key Responsibilities Inspect fresh food produce to ensure quality and freshness standards are maintained.Monitor food processing activities and ensure adherence to required quality standards.Conduct quality checks on raw materials, processed products, packaging, and finished products.Identify and report quality issues, contamination risks, spoilage, or defects.Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation standards are maintained throughout the processing area.Monitor compliance with food safety and quality control procedures.Maintain accurate quality control records and prepare inspection reports.Work closely with production and other departments to resolve quality issues.Ensure products meet company specifications before dispatch.Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions where necessary.Requirements & Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Control, Food Processing, or a related field.Previous experience in fresh food produce and food processing is required.Good knowledge of food hygiene, safety, quality assurance, and processing procedures.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.Good communication and reporting skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Must be flexible and ready to work late hours when required.Male candidate preferred for this position.
