Emergency Task Officer

The Emergency Task Officer is responsible for filing and maintaining detailed incident reports related to financed assets. The role involves receiving all emergency calls from clients, providing immediate response to reported theft or loss of financed assets, and coordinating recovery efforts. This includes locating assets using GPS, liaising with police, boda boda operators, and field recovery staff, and updating relevant documentation such as DC cards. The officer advises clients on obtaining police reports for theft cases and updates the Police report (OB) number on the DC card. Additionally, the role involves negotiating recovery facilitation when clients are unavailable, updating clients on recovery costs, and ensuring recovered assets are documented. The officer also educates clients on theft prevention and asset security, shares daily reports of non-recovered units with stakeholders, and supports investigation and recovery operations to minimize company losses. The position requires liaising with local leaders, police, and security teams, and performing any other tasks assigned by management.

Should have a Diploma/Degree in Criminology or any other relevant academic background. Must have Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Should be Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint is a must). Must have Strong analytical & problem-solving skills. Should have the ability to adapt quickly and work independently. Should have the ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise. Must have excellent organizational skills and have high levels of integrity.
