Job Description
Under the supervision of the Head of Partnerships, this role involves supporting the implementation of initiatives related to the economic policy environment and quality of dialogue around the Global Gateway strategy in Kenya. Key responsibilities include contributing to the identification, formulation, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and supervision of programmes. The role requires facilitating project coordination while ensuring strict compliance with EU policies and guidelines. Additionally, the position involves promoting a Team Europe approach to cooperation with Member States, their agencies, national development banks, export credit agencies, business and private sector organisations, and European financial institutions. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance collaboration and alignment with EU objectives in sectors such as energy, transport, digital, and governance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Public Administration, or related disciplines). Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in administrative, procurement, or project management roles. Fluency in English and Swahili is required. Knowledge of EU procedures and policies is an added advantage.
