Job Description
Provides geological support to mining operations, including ore body modeling, grade control, and resource estimation. Conducts field investigations to assess geological conditions and identify potential hazards. Assists in the preparation of geological reports and mine plans. Collaborates with mining engineers and metallurgists to optimize extraction processes and ensure operational efficiency. Participates in safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field; minimum 2 years of experience in mining or exploration geology; proficiency in geological modeling software (e.g., Micromine, Surpac); strong fieldwork and data analysis skills; familiarity with mining operations and safety protocols; excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
