Financial Director - Group Shared Services Reporting - IFRS - Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Director to lead the Group Shared Services & Reporting function for a prominent organization based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The successful candidate will oversee the financial operations of the shared services center, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and local regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, as well as providing strategic financial leadership to the organization. The role involves directing a team of finance professionals, optimizing financial processes, and ensuring accurate and timely financial statements. Additionally, the Financial Director will collaborate closely with senior management to drive financial performance and support business decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of international financial reporting standards and experience in managing shared service centers in a dynamic business environment.

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role; extensive knowledge of IFRS and local financial regulations; proven track record in managing shared service centers or financial operations in a multinational environment; strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment.
