• Manage day-to-day accounting, financial records, budgets and financial reports. • Track organisational expenditure and support proper financial accountability. • Identify relevant grants, donors and other funding opportunities. • Coordinate the development of concept notes, proposals and funding applications. • Develop and support new ideas for mobilising financial and in-kind resources. • Support grant budgeting, reporting and compliance. • Work with the wider team to connect programmes and ideas with potential funders and partners. • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field. • Proven relevant work experience in accounting and financial management. • Experience or strong knowledge of fundraising, resource mobilisation and grant writing. • Strong proposal and budget development skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting. • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of integrity. • CPA, ACCA or progress towards a professional accounting qualification. • Experience working with NGOs, media organisations or donor-funded projects.
