Accounts and Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts and Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of Bondstar Adhesives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations. The role also involves collaborating with senior management to develop financial strategies, analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities, and providing recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA is highly desirable; Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment; Strong leadership and team management skills; Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle); Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities; Knowledge of Ugandan tax laws and financial regulations; Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting; Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
