Job Description

Crown Beverages Ltd, a leading beverage manufacturer in Uganda, is seeking skilled Technical Operators to join their production team. The role involves operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring smooth manufacturing processes, and adhering to strict quality control standards. Technical Operators will be responsible for monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing routine maintenance to minimize downtime. They will work closely with the production supervisor and quality assurance team to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The position requires hands-on technical expertise and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Candidates must be able to read technical manuals, interpret schematics, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) meticulously.

Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; Hands-on experience with production machinery and equipment maintenance; Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures; Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics; Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in confined spaces; Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
