Job Description
The University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) seeks a Faculty member for its Psychiatry Department to contribute to its mission of training the next generation of global health professionals. The role involves teaching medical students and residents, developing and delivering psychiatry curricula, and engaging in clinical practice at affiliated teaching hospitals. The faculty member will participate in research activities, mentor students, and contribute to the university's community engagement initiatives. This position is ideal for a psychiatrist passionate about global health equity and committed to advancing mental health care in resource-limited settings.
Requirements
MD or equivalent degree in Psychiatry; Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry; Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Psychiatry; Experience in medical education and curriculum development; Strong research background and publication record; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Proficiency in English; Knowledge of French or Kinyarwanda is an asset.
