Job Description

The DRC Senior MEL Program Associate will provide strategic leadership and technical oversight to the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) function within the DRC program. This role involves designing and implementing robust MEL systems to track program performance, ensuring data quality and integrity, and supporting evidence-based decision-making. The Associate will collaborate closely with program teams to integrate MEL into program design, conduct regular data analysis to assess impact, and produce high-quality reports for donors and internal stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes capacity building for local staff on MEL best practices and supporting the development of innovative MEL tools tailored to the DRC context.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field; Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL); Proficiency in MEL software (e.g., DHIS2, ODK, KoboToolbox); Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French; Experience working in rural or agricultural development contexts is highly desirable; Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
