• Conduct stakeholder mapping and mapping of existing community-based structures (CBS). • Identify appropriate community-based structures to establish or strengthen Community-Based Protection Networks (CBPNs) or Community-Based Protection Focal Points (CBP-FPs). • Facilitate and deliver capacity building training for CBPN/FB • Provide technical support for the CBPN to conduct community protection analysis, and develop community action plan that could address the identified protection risks. • Ensure adherence to DRC’s Community-Based Protection programming guidance, standards, and protection principles during implementation. • Support CBPNs in implementing community action plans through regular follow-up, mentoring, meetings, and monitoring of implementation progress and organizational capacity. • Utilize appropriate tools dedicated for the community-based protection program implementation. • Support coordination and collaboration among community representatives, local authorities, and other key stakeholders. • Collaborate with Community Based Protection Networks (CBPN) and conduct community awareness raising and information dissemination on identified protection risks and prevention and mitigation strategies. • Maintain good relationships with CBPNs and other stakeholders to support continues community protection analysis, strengthen the structure, ensure sustainability and promote self-protection. • Engage regularly with community-based structures in a respectful, culturally appropriate, and inclusive manner. • Participate in relevant trainings such as Community Based Protection and other topics • Adhere to humanitarian principles and protection standards while engaging with communities and CBPNs/CBP-FPs • Ensure proper documentation of all activities conducted, including means of verification, to measure project progress, effectiveness, and efficiency. • Support the development and implementation of transition/exit strategies for community-based protection structures.
