Job Description
Assessing trainees and establishing healthcare needs; planning and implementing care interventions based on trainees' health needs; providing appropriate healthcare services including administration of medication, health education, and counseling on identified health and socio-economic needs; referring trainees appropriately; implementing institute health interventions and preparing periodic reports; ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment; keeping statistical data of all cases attended to on a daily basis; making requisition and keeping inventory of medical supplies. The role involves maintaining a professional environment within a technical training institution setting, working closely with institutional staff to support student health and well-being.
Requirements
Diploma in nursing from a recognized training institution with 3 years of experience; OR served in the grade of Registered Nurse III for a minimum period of two (2) years in a busy health facility; Enrolment Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya; Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya; Basic skills in bookkeeping; Computer literacy; Must be above the age of 25 years; Leadership and integrity as set out in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya
