Marketing Officer

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to promote the Rural Development Foundation's (RDF) programs and services. Key responsibilities include designing and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, managing social media platforms, creating promotional materials, and coordinating with stakeholders to enhance brand visibility. The role involves conducting market research to identify target audiences, analyzing campaign performance, and providing recommendations to improve outreach effectiveness. Additionally, the Marketing Officer will collaborate with the fundraising team to support donor engagement and grant proposal development by showcasing RDF's impact through compelling narratives and data-driven reports. The position requires a proactive approach to community engagement and a strong understanding of nonprofit marketing strategies.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; At least 3 years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably within the nonprofit or development sector; Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., social media management platforms, email marketing software); Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Experience in content creation, graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), and data analysis; Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines; Familiarity with donor engagement and grant writing is an added advantage; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
