Finance and Administration Officer

The Finance, Administration and HR Officer will be responsible for managing the financial, administrative, and human resources functions for Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe's operations in Addis Ababa. Key responsibilities include overseeing payroll processing, maintaining financial records, coordinating procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations. The officer will also handle HR functions such as recruitment, staff onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Additionally, the role involves preparing financial reports, liaising with donors and partners, and supporting programmatic activities through efficient administrative processes. The officer will work closely with the country director and program teams to ensure seamless operations and alignment with organizational goals.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; minimum of 3 years of professional experience in finance, administration, or HR roles within an NGO or similar organization; proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite; strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and tax regulations; excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment; fluency in English and Amharic (written and verbal).
