Re-Advertisement: Information Management Specialist, NO-3, FT, #00104741, Khartoum, National Team, Sudan - ESAR

The Information Management Specialist (NO.3) will be responsible for leading and managing the information management function within the UNICEF Sudan Country Office. Key responsibilities include overseeing the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data related to child welfare, education, health, and protection; ensuring data quality and integrity; and supporting the development of information management systems and tools tailored to the needs of the office. The role involves collaborating with program teams to identify data needs, producing high-quality reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders, and providing technical guidance to national counterparts. Additionally, the specialist will play a critical role in monitoring and evaluating program performance, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to improve program effectiveness and impact. The position requires strong leadership skills to mentor and build the capacity of local staff and partners in information management best practices.

Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Information Management, Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or a related field; minimum 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in information management, data analysis, or a related field; demonstrated experience in designing and implementing information management systems; proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar); strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other local languages is an asset; experience working in humanitarian or development contexts, preferably with UN agencies or international NGOs.
