We are seeking an experienced Import Technical Manager to oversee and manage the importation process of medical equipment, supplies, and pharmaceuticals for Lancet General Hospital. The role involves coordinating with international suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing logistics and customs clearance, and maintaining inventory records. The manager will be responsible for negotiating contracts, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of critical medical supplies to support hospital operations. The position requires strong technical knowledge of import regulations, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; minimum of 5 years of experience in import management, preferably in the healthcare sector; knowledge of Ethiopian import regulations and customs procedures; proficiency in ERP systems and import documentation software; strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
