Head of Risk

We are seeking an experienced Head of Risk to oversee and manage the enterprise risk management framework for our organization. This role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all business operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing robust risk management policies and procedures. The Head of Risk will lead a team of risk professionals, collaborate with senior leadership to integrate risk management into strategic decision-making, and report directly to the CEO or Board of Directors. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, implementing risk mitigation strategies, managing crisis response plans, and ensuring the organization adheres to industry best practices and legal standards. This position requires a proactive approach to risk identification and a strong ability to communicate complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field; proven leadership experience managing a risk management team; strong understanding of financial, operational, strategic, and regulatory risks; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to develop and implement risk management frameworks; experience with enterprise risk management (ERM) tools and methodologies; strong communication and stakeholder management skills; relevant certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CRCM are highly desirable; proficiency in risk management software and data analysis tools.
