Medical Officer

The Medical Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care including diagnosis, treatment, and emergency services at Stride Community Medical Clinic. This role involves supervising other medical staff and ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery. Key responsibilities include conducting inpatient ward rounds, providing emergency care, supporting maternal and child health services, and contributing to the Stride Community Health Insurance Scheme. The Medical Officer will also mentor and supervise junior staff to enhance their clinical capacity, maintain accurate patient records, and analyze health data to detect disease outbreaks. Additionally, the role includes health education and promotion activities, as well as participation in research programs to improve community health outcomes.

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution; valid medical license to practice; minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a similar setting; experience in emergency care, maternal/child health, and minor surgical procedures; strong leadership and mentoring skills; proficiency in data management and health information systems; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team-oriented environment; commitment to continuous professional development.
