Job Description
The Chief, Nutrition reports to the Deputy Representative and is responsible for managing and supervising all stages of the nutrition programme, from strategic planning to delivery of results. The role involves leading the Nutrition team, collaborating with Health and WASH sections, and ensuring sustainable results in maternal, infant, and child nutrition programmes in alignment with UNICEF’s Strategic Plans and accountability frameworks.
Requirements
Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in nutrition programming, including at least 5 years at the international level. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and results-based management skills are required.
