Technical Lead

The Technical Lead will be responsible for consultant, contractor, and supplier management. Key responsibilities include identifying and evaluating engineering consultants, surveyors, contractors, and equipment suppliers. The role involves reviewing proposals, methodologies, qualifications, cost assumptions, and deliverables from these parties. Additionally, the Technical Lead will obtain and compare quotations from suppliers, consultants, and contractors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery. The position requires a high level of technical oversight but does not include the authority to approve major expenditures, enter contracts, or provide statutory engineering certification unless separately authorized and professionally qualified. This role is critical in ensuring that all technical engagements meet organizational standards and project requirements.

Professional engineering qualification; Extensive experience in consultant, contractor, and supplier management; Strong analytical skills to review proposals and methodologies; Ability to evaluate qualifications, cost assumptions, and deliverables; Experience in obtaining and comparing quotations; Knowledge of engineering certification standards (if applicable); Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a technical leadership role.
