Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to ensure the smooth operation of all mechanical systems within our hotel and suites. The role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and repairing equipment such as HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance. The technician will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance checks, diagnosing faults, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime. Additionally, the technician will collaborate with the housekeeping and engineering teams to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff. Experience in hotel or hospitality industry maintenance is highly desirable.
Requirements
Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field; minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance; proficiency in HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical repairs; strong problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; valid driver’s license may be required; fluency in English and Kinyarwanda.
