Community Health Nurse NGO Job

The Community Health Nurse will oversee clinical operations and ensure high-quality service delivery for Village HopeCore International. Primary responsibilities include providing clinical services through maternal and child health programs, supporting mobile clinics, conducting follow-up visits, and administering emergency care in critical situations such as first aid and lifesaving interventions. The role involves assessing patient health needs, planning and implementing nursing care interventions, and evaluating healthcare outcomes to prepare individualized reports. Additional duties include conducting school health needs assessments, planning and implementing health interventions, maintaining patient records, providing health education and counseling, and participating in health awareness campaigns and community education programs. The nurse will also assist in collecting and analyzing health data to improve service delivery, maintain compliance with ethical and legal standards including patient confidentiality, and contribute to the development of health policies and strategies within the organization.

Diploma in Community Health Registered Nursing (KCHRN); Valid practice license from the relevant professional body; Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in clinical practice; Strong organizational and leadership skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Proficiency in medical data systems and Microsoft Office; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Passion for nonprofit work and making a positive impact in the community; Ability to ride a Motorcycle will be an added advantage.
