• POSITION SUMMARY: The Grants and Finance Officer will use his/her experience in donor compliance to ensure that activities are delivered with minimized compliance risk, in addition to other duties as assigned. • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and building the capacity of staff on award and subaward management to ensure compliance with donor and Project HOPE requirements. • In collaboration with Program Staff, oversee subrecipient monitoring in accordance with Project HOPE’s subrecipient monitoring plan and available/applicable checklists. • MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s in accounting, Finance, Economics, International Development (or international equivalent), or in a related field. • Graduate degrees are welcomed. • Minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in federal and/or private grants/contracts management. • Ability to compose reports, presentations, memos, emails, awards, solicitations, and other written documents in an organized, logical, and concise manner. • Ability to write well, with attention to detail and correct grammar. • Knowledge of different subaward mechanisms and the applicability of various donor/client flow-down requirements. • Knowledge of the Uniform Guidance, Standard Provisions, FAR/AIDAR, and other donor rules and regulations regarding the implementation of Federal awards.
