• Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards. • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including taxation, regulatory filings, and financial reporting obligations. • Provide timely and accurate financial reports and insights to management for decision-making. • Manage supplier payments for raw materials used in fish feed production (e.g., soya, maize, additives). • Oversee customer invoicing and collections for finished fish feed products. • Monitor and control credit terms, outstanding receivables, and supplier obligations. • Ensure effective working capital management. • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing operations. • Oversee online banking transactions, payments, and reconciliations. • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and advise management on funding requirements. • Work closely with operations to ensure accurate inventory valuation of raw materials and finished goods. • Monitor and control production costs and variances. • Ensure proper accounting for stock movements and consumption within the plant. • Oversee the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing.
