The Senior Accountant will oversee the accounting functions of ICOFFEE TRADING PLC, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves managing general ledger accounts, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making. The senior accountant will also oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and ensure timely tax filings. Additionally, the role requires mentoring junior staff, implementing internal controls, and collaborating with external auditors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role; proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; strong leadership and team management abilities; excellent communication and analytical skills; familiarity with Ethiopian tax laws and international accounting standards; fluency in Amharic and English.
