POOL DRIVERS On-Need / Periodic Basis

Provide timely and safe driving and courier/liaison support to field team operations on a pool/on-need basis. Drive authorized personnel to destinations as instructed, and support day-to-day movement of documents and materials. Maintain strict adherence to safety and convoy procedures. Key responsibilities include: 1) Providing timely and quality support to operations by transporting personnel and delivering documents/materials while ensuring punctuality and adherence to travel schedules. 2) Ensuring a safe working environment by maintaining vehicle safety, conducting regular radio checks, complying with traffic regulations, monitoring vehicle condition, and reporting malfunctions or security concerns. 3) Delivering customer-focused and accountable service by assisting administration staff, maintaining accurate vehicle/equipment records, performing monthly fuel reconciliations, and executing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. The role requires adherence to World Vision’s child and adult safeguarding principles, including zero tolerance for violence or abuse.

Valid driving license; 3 years of experience in a similar job; Secondary education; Basic English proficiency; Fluency in Somali; Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; Adherence to security standards; Gender-sensitive approach; Ability to perform other duties as required.
