Job Description
Teach Amharic language and literature to students in a culturally immersive environment at Zoma Museum PLC. Develop lesson plans aligned with the Ethiopian national curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Amharic. Prepare students for national examinations and foster an appreciation for Ethiopian language and culture. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate language learning with museum activities and local history. Maintain student records, assess progress, and communicate with parents regarding academic performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Amharic Language or Education; minimum of 2 years of teaching experience; proficiency in Amharic and English; familiarity with Ethiopian curriculum standards; strong communication and classroom management skills; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
