Technical Solutions Engineer

Faibanet is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to bridge the critical gap between internal wholesale infrastructure, external partners, and enterprise retail clients. This role involves managing technical touchpoints across the client lifecycle, from solution design to incident management and security advisory. The position requires leading all technical presales engagements for enterprise prospects, designing tailored solutions that align with client business requirements. Responsibilities include developing compelling technical proposals, solution architectures, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for enterprise deals, incorporating services from external wholesale partners. The role serves as the primary technical resource during RFP/RFQ processes, client presentations, and proof-of-concept engagements. Additionally, the Technical Solutions Engineer translates complex technical capabilities into clear, commercially relevant value propositions for enterprise buyers. They maintain awareness of wholesale partner capabilities, product portfolios, and technical limitations to ensure accurate scoping and deliverability of solutions. The role also involves owning and continuously improving the enterprise solutions catalogue to ensure offerings remain competitive and market-relevant.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical presales, solution architecture, or enterprise IT consulting; Experience with designing and implementing enterprise-level security solutions; Strong understanding of wholesale infrastructure, external partner integrations, and enterprise client requirements; Proficiency in developing technical proposals, solution architectures, and Bill of Materials (BOMs); Knowledge of RFP/RFQ processes and client presentation techniques; Familiarity with security frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance standards; Excellent communication skills to translate technical jargon into business value; Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and NOC teams; Experience with incident management, escalation procedures, and root cause analysis (RCA); Certifications in security (e.g., CISSP, CEH) or enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) are a plus.
