• Train and deem competent the Heavy Equipment Repair Trainees • Maintain oversight of trainees while on site doing their On-The-Job modules • Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks • Present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness • Compile training reports on training outcomes • Provide feedback on training progress to management • Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology • Maintain student training records • Establish and maintain relationships with external training tools suppliers • Ensure good housekeeping in the heavy equipment repair workshop and the immediate surroundings • Coordinate off-site training activities for students when necessary • Keep current on training design and methodology • Any other duties as may be reasonably requested of you by your supervisor, in line with effective operations of the Training Department.
