Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Solutions Manager to lead our Google Cloud initiatives in Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth and adoption of Google Cloud solutions across key enterprise and public sector clients. Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle for Google Cloud products and services. You will collaborate closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, and technical support to ensure seamless execution of client engagements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing, enterprise IT infrastructure, and digital transformation trends, with a proven track record in business development within the technology sector. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for driving innovation in the cloud space.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or account management within the technology sector, with at least 3 years specifically focused on cloud solutions (preferably Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure). Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, enterprise IT infrastructure, and digital transformation strategies. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. Experience working with enterprise and public sector clients. Certifications in Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure are highly desirable. Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce. Fluency in English; additional languages such as Swahili are advantageous.
