Customer Service Representative

Job Purpose: Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of our client in the Business Process Outsourcing industry, is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives. They will be responsible for managing client communications, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining high service standards while dealing with high-end international companies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in banking, debt collection, and/or call centers, and the ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment. Key Responsibilities: - Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally and efficiently. - Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email. - Manage customer accounts and provide accurate information regarding services. - Follow up on outstanding accounts where applicable (debt collection exposure preferred). - Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions. - Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues appropriately. - Build and maintain strong relationships with high-end international clients. - Meet individual and team performance targets. - Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards. - Provide regular updates and reports to the supervisor as required.

Qualifications: - Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Communications, or a related field. - A background in banking and financial services, with strong understanding of customer service and handling within regulated and professional environments. - 2-3 years of customer service experience, preferably within banking, telecommunications, debt collection, BPO, or call center environments. - A valid Certificate of Good Conduct and maintain a clean CRB (Credit Reference Bureau) record. - Strong verbal and written communication skills with high fluency in English. - High level of confidence and professionalism when dealing with international clients. - Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
