• Diploma in Quantity Surveying (minimum) • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred) • 1–3 years of experience in quantity surveying, construction cost control, or estimating. • Experience preparing take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), payment certificates, and variation orders. • Technical Skills • Reading and interpreting construction drawings. • Quantity take-offs and measurements. • Cost estimation and budgeting. • Tender preparation and analysis. • Contract administration. • Strong Microsoft Excel skills. • Familiarity with QS software such as CostX, WinQS, CCS Candy, Buildertrend, or similar is an advantage. • Membership with bodies such as the Surveyors Institute of Zambia or registration with the Engineering Institution of Zambia an added advantage
