The Pharmacist will be responsible for managing the pharmacy operations at the Ifakara Health Institute, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients and healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of drug inventory, monitoring drug usage, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards. The Pharmacist will also provide guidance to patients on proper medication use, collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize treatment plans, and participate in health education initiatives within the community. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution; Registered with the Tanzania Pharmacy Council; Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical or hospital pharmacy setting; Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and drug interactions; Excellent communication and organizational skills; Proficiency in inventory management systems; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Fluency in Swahili and English.
