Coffee Storekeeper

The Coffee Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, identifying, preserving, issuing, counting, and documenting coffee and warehouse materials at ROMEL Coffee Processing Plant. The role ensures proper storage, accurate record-keeping, and protection of green coffee, processed coffee, packaging materials, and other warehouse items. The Storekeeper maintains stock accuracy, coffee traceability, warehouse hygiene, and product quality to support uninterrupted coffee processing and export operations. Key responsibilities include verifying deliveries, maintaining proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), coordinating with logistics teams during dispatch, and ensuring compliance with food safety and warehouse procedures. The position requires meticulous documentation of stock movements, participation in physical inventories, and immediate reporting of discrepancies or quality issues.

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Accounting, Business Management or a related field; Minimum of 4 years of relevant warehouse/storekeeping experience in a coffee processing, food processing, or coffee/food export company; Experience handling green coffee or other agricultural commodities is an advantage; Good warehouse management skills; Inventory control knowledge; Stock counting and reconciliation skills; Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO; Basic understanding of coffee storage and handling; Good documentation and recordkeeping skills; Basic knowledge of food safety and warehouse hygiene; Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word; Ability to operate an ERP/inventory management system is an advantage; Communication skills; Attention to detail
