Group Finance Analyst

The Group Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and growth of an innovative horticulture group founded in Kenya in 2020. Primary responsibilities include preparing comprehensive business plans and performing detailed financial modelling for new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with the group's strategic objectives. The role involves conducting valuations of current operations to assess financial health and performance, consolidating forecasting for the entire group to provide accurate financial projections, and performing due diligence on new investments to evaluate viability and potential returns. Additionally, the analyst will engage with investors to secure debt and equity funding, develop and manage technical assistance financing solutions, and prepare shareholder reports to maintain transparency and accountability. The position requires conducting performance data and KPI analysis to support operational decision-making, with a strong emphasis on financial integrity, analytical precision, and strategic insight.

Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in financial analysis, business planning, or a similar role; Must be a CPA (K) or ACCA Finalist; Highly computer literate with proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems); Previous experience in the agriculture or horticulture sector is an added advantage; Self-confident, conscientious, and highly organized with excellent written and analytical skills; Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and act independently with a strong sense of responsibility; Sound integrity and ethical standards.
