Kitchen Attendant
Job Description
The Kitchen Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, assisting with food preparation tasks, and ensuring that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained. The role involves supporting the kitchen staff in preparing meals, setting up dining areas, and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. The Kitchen Attendant will work closely with the catering team to ensure smooth operations and may be required to assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and waste disposal. The position requires a keen attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Requirements
At least KCSE certificate or equivalent. Certificate in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or Catering is an added advantage. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.
