CDP – A La Carte

Mount Meru Hotel, a premier Five-Star Hotel located in Arusha, is seeking an energetic and experienced hospitality professional to join their Kitchen Department as a CDP – A La Carte. The role involves preparing and presenting high-quality à la carte dishes in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. The position requires close collaboration with the culinary team to ensure exceptional dining experiences, adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence. The CDP – A La Carte will be responsible for menu execution, portion control, and timely service delivery to meet guest expectations. The role demands a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines. Immediate joiners will be given priority.

4 to 5 years of relevant hospitality experience in à la carte or fine dining settings; excellent culinary skills and knowledge of international cuisine; strong commitment to food safety and hygiene standards; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; teamwork and adaptability in a dynamic environment; relevant certifications in culinary arts or hospitality management are advantageous.
