Customer Care Executives

On behalf of Uganda Baati, HCBS is seeking competent and experienced Customer Care Executives to manage showroom sales and service across various locations in Uganda. The role involves attending to and responding to incoming customer enquiries through phone or over the counter, converting potential prospects from walk-in customers to sales, and receiving sales orders while confirming payment status for production and delivery. The position requires generating daily footfall and sales reports for supervisors, recording and forwarding customer complaints for corrective actions, and organizing product delivery and order fulfilment activities including pricing, timing, and routes. Additional responsibilities include addressing issues such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance, developing and managing the roof installers scheme (Fundi program), and liaising with production and supply chain teams on material status to achieve OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery. The role also involves preparing loading slips, ensuring all documentation is in order for invoicing and loading, maintaining product displays, conducting stock-taking and inventory control, and strictly adhering to sales procedures and processes.

Strong customer service and sales skills; experience in showroom sales and customer care; proficiency in handling phone and in-person enquiries; ability to convert prospects into sales; experience in order processing and payment confirmation; knowledge of inventory control and stock-taking; familiarity with supply chain and production coordination; ability to prepare reports and documentation; experience in managing delivery logistics; strong problem-solving skills for addressing damages, shortages, and non-conformance; ability to work in a team and liaise with multiple departments.
