Superintendent II, Technical Training

The Superintendent II, Technical Training will oversee the Mining Technical Training Centre by scheduling and managing employee training for Underground and Concentrator operations in accordance with the national accreditation framework (INPP). The role involves delivering psychomotor skills training for mining and process operators to support the mining plan. The incumbent will supervise a team and ensure the optimal running of the training centre. Key responsibilities include quality assuring structured curricula for technical training programs, developing and delivering training schedules, overseeing bridging training programs for newly hired artisans, managing certification training for annual cadet intake, and developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for the Training Centre. The position requires strong leadership and coordination skills to align training initiatives with operational goals.

Bachelor of Education Training and Development (ETD); OR Tertiary qualification as mining engineer; OR Bachelor of Applied Science focusing on HSEQ; Mining experience (Trackless); 2 years' relevant experience in running a training centre in mining; Fluency in English; French will be beneficial; Swahili language skills; Principles of adult vocational training and competency-based training; Experience using financial databases; Experience using isometrics databases.
